How to get what you want

1. Goal setting

The first step to mastery is setting a goal. It is an important key to all successful plans. Maybe you are thinking that goal setting is not a big deal. But in reality, most people don’t know how to establish  a clear goal. The goal we are talking about here is related to your vision. What is your biggest personal goal in life?

2. Why

Once we know what we want to achieve, we need a strong reason why we must achieve this goal. We will find out the purpose. The purpose is the driving force behind your actions and is more important than outcome-driven action

3. Strategy + Tactics+ Process Setting

After goal setting, most people don’t have a clear strategy. Sometimes we know part of our tactics, but most of the time we don’t have a clear strategy. We need time to achieve the goal, and the process is to follow the system time after time until completion.

4. Develop the right habit

We have to develop habits when we are in the process. A perfect strategy and well planned tactics are sometimes destroyed by our terrible habits. We need to have consistency or the right habits in our daily rituals, particularly in regards to two key things.  Number 1: daily rituals thinking about the goal; that can develop the habit to focus on your written goals more quickly. Then you will see things that correspond to your goals as a matter of course. Number 2: write the goal down and develop a plan. Think of the following scenario; you want to take a vacation to the Maldives. First you have to take leave from your company and then buy the ticket and wait for the day to arrive, go to the airport by train, check in at the airport, wait for boarding, fly by plane and you are there. In fact most people don’t have right daily habits and rituals to achieve their goal. Your habits you have right now are helping you to achieve everything you have achieved right now. So if you want different results, you have to develop right daily habits and rituals.

5. Beliefs system setting

We have two different kinds of beliefs, explicit and implicit. For example, I believe I will marry, I believe I will have children, it is called explicit .But I am not sure I can be a good wife/husband, or good mother/father. Because we have an implicit belief under the surface about I am not good enough. It is a pattern in your brain, you can choose the belief, so why not to create the beliefs you need to have .
